And the winner is...

... actually there are two winners! You all were so great and left so many comments that I couldn't give just one box of La Maison du Chocolate, I had to give two! We cut up 291 names and put them in a big jar for my husband to pick the two. And they are:

Life As A Mama

&

Tricia

Congratulations to you two, and thank you to everyone who participated!

Thanks for hosting the drawing. I saw your blog and I am in Germany. Not on an army base, but married to a German. I couldn't speak a like of German arriving in Germany, but speak pretty decent now. Good luck in Italy! Bon Chance!

Thanks again for hosting the giveaway. It was so fun to participate, and obviously lovely to actually get chosen. =)

oh what fun! i actually won a couple of contests from the dog days, so i am (tearfully and shaking my head at myself) going to pass on your french chocolate. i toyed with the idea of accepting them and then passing them on through my blog, but if you had 291 people interested in them, can i ask that you redraw and let someone else share the excitement?

i'm adding you to my google reader, because after (like susan) living in germany and picking up the language just by being around it, i can understand what you're going through...

but now you get to live in my favoritest place in the universe... ITALY!! lucky you... go soak up some warm sun and eat pizza and top it off with an icy cool gelato, and enjoy it!

Abbey,

Thanks for your comment on my post about my retreat. Next time I don't want to wait until I'm "desperate" to get out of the house.

I hope you follow through this weekend. At the last minute, I thought about going to the mall instead, as I never get to anymore, but this time was just so refreshing for me. I didn't really have an agenda. Mostly I just wanted to write some stuff out, and just spend time thinking and being quiet.

If it works out, I hope you'll share about it!
